In the early 70's, the Simonds Lions Club of Saint John envisioned a fIexible living and care facility for Saint John seniors. Determined to realize this dream, they became knowledgeable about other facilities, and began to design the ideal enviroment for seniors requiring long-term care. Funding and support was secured from the federal and provincial governments, and in 1973 Loch Lomond Villa opened its doors.

Today, Loch Lomond Villa continues to realize this vision, and it is widely recognized for its commitment to putting people first and focusing on the total quality of resident living.

People tell us that Loch Lomond Villa's most valuable attribute is offering Peace of Mind for residents and their families. Peace of Mind that care and help is available when needed, and that the health and well-being of the individual is at the forefront of everything we do.

Peace of Mind also comes from knowing that Loch Lomond Villa is widely respected for its many years of service, and that it continues to evolve. Always searching for the best way to meet the changing needs of all those who require long-term care in a comfortable, worry-free enviroment.

The Villa also specializes in caring for those who have needs in the area of Alzheimer's and mental frailty.
