Norah Davidson-Wright of Fredericton, NB became a Lion in 2001. Barkers Point Northside Lions Club is where she is when she is at home. At the Club level, she has been a member of the Board of Directors each year. She has served one term as President, one as Secretary, and is the Treasurer for 2009-2010. She has chaired several committees, including the Willie O'Ree opener, and the first ever ALERT Chair.
At the District level, Norah has served as Zone Chair, Environment Chair, and ALERT Chair.
Norah is the LCIF Coordinator for Our District for the next 3 years.
CST Norah is a Life Member of the Lions Foundation of Canada, a Melvin Jones Fellow, and has been recognized with an International President's Certificate of Appreciation, and an International President's Medal.
A lawyer by profession, Norah has a practice in Fredericton and on Grand Manan. Norah is a member of the Grand Manan and Fredericton Chambers of Commerce, is the incoming President of the Fredericton Botanic Garden Association and participates in a think tank with Portage Atlantic.
Norah's husband is CC Rod Wright. They have three children, Jenny, Kristy and Chanel, three cats and a great place on Grand Manan to escape to whenever they both have free time!
